Information is of great importance in the lives of individuals and institutions. It has become one of the most important resources that entities and organizations can not do without in carrying out their work and activities, especially in this era full of rapid and successive changes in various areas of life. This importance lies in the fact that it plays an important role in the organization's internal management by facilitating the performance of its multiple tasks and providing the correct information at the right time to make the right decisions.
Information systems consist of physical and software components that aim to collect, process, store, and distribute information in a way that contributes to the decision-making and control mechanism of the organization, in addition to helping to analyze complex problems and topics and find appropriate solutions to them.
In the Department of Information and Control Systems, we strive to contribute actively to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the University Vice President for Projects in improving, developing, and automating the information structure of systems and the transition to smart building systems through the application of modern technical solutions in the collection of data received by the Monitoring and Control Systems Center for Mechanical and Electrical Systems for the purpose of analysis and real-time electronic processing and the operation of smart algorithms, which contributes to improving performance indicators, raising operating efficiency and supporting decision-making concerning maintenance work.
